Overall, the story is highly engaging and a fun short read. I think that the author was able to bring a concept that's not extremely original but make it refreshing in new ways. The characters and dialogue were awesome but this being a short it leaves you almost wanting more as we barely get to experience this story. I think a little pretext would be nice before the countdown begins. Well done on this short.

I think that this is a great concept. I like the question you're asking here: what would you do with your last 5 minutes? What would that look like? I think that you can make some improvements with the action lines and some of the dialogue. I also think you can develop your characters a little bit more (again I know it's hard to do with a short). The story begins with four friends. It is quite an interesting concept.
It focuses on the bond between the friends. It's nice to see real life behavior brought out in this story. The friends are really attached and yet are not very nice to each other, exactly like how we usually behave with our loved ones.
The idea can be brought out in a much better way if the format is improvised.
