This show surrounds around the themes of terrorism, potlics, music, love, friendship, loyalty, right and wrong, death and sacrifice. But you do not have to understand all of those themes to simply enjoy the show. The first two episodes are just normal teenage life, with porn, love triangles, cursing, jokes, school, Melo-dramatic "world ending" events, wingmen ETC. Two of the main characters , the self proclaimed MESSIAH OF ROCK `N` ROLL (Real name JOHNNY PRACHETT) and GINGER, the legendary best friend who shares a brain, but with a sprinkle of common sense, are interested in politics. Through their conversations and radio we can get an idea of a less innocent world of corruption and greed co-existing quietly, but that is all we get. The differences in their kid-world is 1) JOHNNY PRATCHETT has dreams of being on the F. M. Instead of dreaming endlessly, though, he owns a ham radio set from the forties, a family-attic antique, and uses it to play make believe, and this leads into the second point, 2), he has an unquestionable taste in music. Liking everything from 20s to 90s, "except sixties, for obvious reasons,'' he dislikes modern music a lot.
