A hitman named Logan mistakingly allows young Tara witness him completing a hit on her grandfather. He tries to cover up the loose end he's created, but finds that he can't do it. He spends the day with Tara trying to bring himself to do what is expected of him.

The bones of this story are absolutely there, I absolutely think it is an idea that could be expanded or at least reworked, the crux of the entire story hinges on the question, why are these two individuals so willing to be together? (For example, The Last of Us) the main aspect of what keeps narratives like this interesting is the relationship between the characters and there is a good start here! It just has to come from a believable foundation...
