Review Rating:

The opening of the story was a great way to introduce the reader to a brand new world of mystery and adventure. The symbolism between the Chavr board and the world that the characters live in is very exciting and clever. The main character Kal is a dynamic character that you can tell has a lot going on behind her eyes. The way that she is thrown into the world of gods and magic is riveting. The way her journey is described is so vivid and the reader can really connect with what she is going through. There are so many other rich characters in the story, too. Wren is hilarious. He is immediately likable even though he is simultaneously untrustworthy. It is a great blend of suspense and comedy. The world itself is so rich, there are so many cool additions to the world too. The religions and gods are really well described and the reader gets an immediate impression of the impact that all of the religions could have on each other. Some of the ceremony scenes were especially tense. The descriptions of the scenes really put you inside the temple of light with the initiates standing in line. Especially in the age of COVID, studios are being careful how much they spend on even their prestige projects. While there is no saying for sure one way or another whether the show could get financed at this stage, I can say that the series would likely require a slightly exorbitant budget to bring its world and visuals to life believably. This may make some studios and investors warier of the project as budgets are being taken into account more than ever when deciding what series are being made and which are not. That said, fantasy epics such as "Game of Thrones" proved to be a massive success and cultural phenomenon while Amazon is currently betting the farm on a five-hundred million dollar "Lord of the Rings" project. This is also a very tight script in regards to formatting and grammar, very well done. It is attention to detail like that that elevates a script.

Uncle Buddy feature
Genre: Action/Adventure
Review Rating:

First, Uncle Buddy is really really funny and the characters are so original and well thought out. Buddy himself is like the sitcom dad version of a dumb Han Solo. The character's dialogue had me literally laughing out loud. Even though the characters are immature and totally delinquent sometimes, this is still a great story for most people that are into comedy and sci-fi and smoking pot. The space kittens are hilarious and they have definitely been described in such a way that it makes them both too funny and scary. I like that Buddy is on an adventure that he doesn't want to be on and then has to go n another adventure that he doesn't want to go on. It's fun to see the main character struggle with what's going on around him and overcoming the odds. The little alien pugs and their ship is something that I would love to see imagined on any screen because they seem like they would be so funny to watch. Colton's character is pretty relatable. I can see how if I were kidnapped by my uncle how I would be a little annoyed. I can also see how, if offered the right amount of money I could be persuaded to keep my mouth shut, and I love that about Colton. He is so relatable. Henry is another unforgettable character. Henry is the sweetest and most innocent character in the story. He also has the most valuable skills out of any other character in the story. The best part about Henry is that when he gets stoned he's like the most brilliant alien ship-builder that had probably ever existed. The sci-fi in this script is so fun and invigorating. It pokes fun at the seriousness of today's audiences by justifying the most ludicrous possibilities with simple lines of dialogue that are both clever and funny. The cinematic elements to this screenplay make me want to see it come to life. I can really imagine this as a fully produced movie and it would be really fun to see it with an awesome cast.
