Action is written well and easy to visualise. Lots of it if that is your thing. There isn't a lot other than action though. However, certainly lots of movies just like that and personally I find them all a bit of white noise, much like the movies themselves. This one fits right in that slot. One man army is a badass who comes back for one last job to take down a nasty villain because "insert dramatic need". Describes about half a million movies and this one the dramatic need has to be stronger to get us on Alexas side. As per a famous screenwriting book. Badass girl plus cool car does not equal a likeable character. Need more for us to root for her. With so much non stop action, which can work, been done plenty times, the narrative struggles to be heard. I found difficulty discerning between the fringe characters or following why they needed to kill all these people other than the guy on the ear piece radio said to. In my opinion, its too similar to a million other things and making the one person army the first female to join the special forces outfit in this film isn't strong enough the get it to stand out. However, I'm probably not the target audience, I find these films blend together in a bland wall of action. Action scenes very fast and energetic. Easy to visualise and work well. Narrative gets lost. Twist is kind of expected. Simply because its been done so often. Hard to make a new twist on something that's so generic.

the simplest change this needs is to move away from the break neck scenes and flesh out the characters more. There is too much too fast. Short concise action lines are great but the scene is over before it starts. It reads like a multi episode TV series crammed into an 88 page movie trailer. Condense the story into a shorter time frame. It seems like taken but with very poorly equipped people instead. That's a good concept, perhaps it'd be useful to focus on the detective work, add a timeclock perhaps or see how the heroes manage to overcome obstacles driven by the emotional strength of a mothers love for her child. We follow the bad guys around a lot then the heroes pop up here and there and stumble onto the answer. There's a lot of redundant scenes that can go to allow the important scenes to have more time and deliver on their purpose. The cops and court officials don't seem to be following due process. If they did, I think this mom and pop illegal adoption ring would be found out pretty fast, especially with a mall store as their front. Interesting ending. But I don't feel sahras world is that bad that she could possibly feel happy with the decision she makes. The bad guys are still at large, they've not been stopped and no one had an arc. Too much on delivering a huge amount of material and not enough developing the characters, the dramatic premise, and taking down the bad guys. Reckon this would work as a TV show though. Main point: scenes, beginning middle end. Whats happening, why is that important, what happens next. Less is more
