Overall I thought this was a very interesting story with a great protagonist in 'Cobb.' One of my favourite parts of the whole screenplay is the opening scene when Peter is giving him the watch. Its gripping, carries a lot of emotion and really hooks you in for the rest of the story. The dialogue in this screenplay is excellent and I never felt like it was fake, I really believed the characters. My only points to consider would be.. How do the two men who bribe Cobb know that he needs the money for his son? Is this not private to Cobb? Or was it in the newspapers? like does the whole village know about his situation? Also, Shouldn't Cobb regardless of his situation be able to use the bribe and murder plot as means of evidence for convicting Walo Wrenn? I thought it may have been interesting to see if he could double cross them? By speaking to Joss and formulating another plan? Overall this is an excellent screenplay and it was a joy to read. I can imagine it making a great short film.
