Jed's End short

“Jed’s End” has an interesting plot, characters, and themes, dialogue, and arc, but was lacking in a couple areas. But also, it had significant talent So here we go with the pros and cons. PROS: I know I put The Robin hood thing in cons but it is also a good plot. It reminds me of Ethan Hunt, always trying to save women he cares for. (even though they usually die)]Since that script made millions that is definitely a good thing. I liked How the title basically looks like the main character, Jed is going to die but the twist that contradicts the title. The saving of the family and not choosing between his daughter and wife was good and it made him seem loyal. I very much thought the drug lord was going to kill them all, but the assassin part was surprising and well written. Some of the more important lines were written well, I liked some of the wording. I could see making this into a feature. CONS: The plot was lacking in the beginning its okay to leave questions in the beginning but just muttering about escaping leaves much to be desired. Plus later on you don’t get what the thing about escaping he seems like a badass thug who steals money from pimps somewhat like a modern day Robin Hood. You only know the plot when you are halfway through. There was also many typos and grammatical errors. If the grammar errors were on purpose like an undereducated or person from a origin of another language. Like a GIF “ I wanna haz a cheezburger” or “I ain’t doing nothin for nothin for no one”. The format was all wrong too if a publisher glanced they wouldn’t give it a second look and not even reply. The “...”s were confusing and it is very off for a script making it hard to read. Also the character arcs were bleak and not well drawn out. In conclusion, I believe that if the writer can change the formatting to make it into a proper script formatting rules, fixes the grammatical errors, and typos. The script would be acceptable. I recommend including more character arc development and plot arcs. Include the instructions for the camera, that is always a good way to structure the script to see it on the screen. I think that if these aspects are addressed I will gladly go to the showing of this screenplay
