Interfaith relationships are forbidden in some religions. Knowing this, a man will fall in love with a girl which will cause him to battle the consequences of interfaith relationships in the modern day.
Starting his new job, a Sikh man gains new friends and falls in love with a Muslim woman. Once they give in to their love for each other, they question the effects their relationship will have on their lives in the modern day.
This is my first feature film script and would love some feedback. Right now, I don't care about formatting issues as I am new to this. I'm looking for opinions on the story mainly. Thank you!
On the nose dialogue. You want the viewer to fill in the blanks of the conversation. Leave mystery in the words. Think if you were eavesdropping on someone's conversation or job interview, it would sound organic. Parts unsaid or told by body language rather than words. Parts are too expositional. I sounds too long and tells us - the viewers-- too much back story. It's like fluff to fill in space. I'd add in more action of the character, somethin...
