In the year 2016, the United Kingdom votes to leave the European Union, resulting in a civil war which tears the country apart known as the First British Revolution. A decade later in 2026, the country has now reformed into the British Democratic Republic, and Ireland is reunited. Former police detective Mikhail Rozhenko is called out of early retirement to bring recidivistic vigilante and hero of the revolution Enrico Robutti to justice, much to the dismay of his stay-at-home girlfriend Karin Daimler.
Eventually betrayed and executed, Enrico is revived as a nanotech-enhanced cyborg by the resistance and tasked with bringing down the Order of the 3 Lions, the ruling party of the BDR, aided by his ninja girlfriend Taki Onodera along with support from his protégé in the form of disgruntled high school senior Winston Smith. As relationships are put to the test and new betrayals come to light, Enrico and Mikhail soon find their codes of honour being pushed to the limit, forcing them to decide where their loyalties lie as each step of the investigation brings both men closer to their final confrontation…
The action sequences were well written, but the plot was too complex for just one screenplay. I would suggest stripping this down to its bare bones and rebuilding from the ground up. Split it up into sections and really hone your outline and trim your descriptions to include only what the reader needs to visualize the story in their head.
Three stories take place after a crime goes wrong. A waitress must decide what to do with the jewels she found on a crime scene. A group of mobsters struggle to find the person who stole their goods. And a young couple finds themselves hunted by an unexpected enemy.
A wealthy Spanish family fights to preserve Spain then supports an independent Mexico and finally defeats Santa Anna at San Jacinto in order to protect their lands, property and legacy.
