Draft 1
I'm sorry to terminate the script mid-scene like this, but I realised my reveal of the answer to the central question readers will have after reading this portion of draft isn't up to scratch. I'd like to apologise in advance and promise to TRY uploading the next portion of draft over the weekend.
This is a couple of hours worth of vomit draft I got out over the long weekend. I'm not 100% certain if it's going to be a storyline I pursue, but I feel a review or two may be just the impetus I'm looking for.
Any and all feedback will be taken on board. I'll do my best to include as much of your critiques as possible in future drafts
A young writer discovers a heartfelt anonymous letter hidden in a book and begins a secret exchange with its author, even as she unexpectedly builds a connection with a man she meets in real life—forcing her to navigate love written in words and love unfolding face-to-face.
Based on the true story in 1931 of a navy wife who claimed she was raped by a gang of Hawaiians, leading to one of them being kidnapped and murdered in a scheme hatched by the girl's mother. Clarence Darrow defended the family in Hawaii's Crime of the Century.
