Overall it's a solid concept for a TV series. But it needs more drama, conflict, and your characters need to be three dimensional. Why are you characters important to us? What makes their journey so special? These are the questions you need to nail down before rewriting, because it will allow you to create a compelling story that fulfills your unique concept
I think it's a decent start to an idea, but it just needs some work in terms of everything since it lacked quality in it heavily. It was too short, and things moved quickly sometimes, and you just would ay something and then move on. Don't be afraid to go into detail and flesh out some parts. Hope this helps :)
I think its a great first draft, a solid concept with good humor. The characters are interesting, the world is interesting. The plot with the sneakers and the underground sneaker guy is intriguing. I think the devil is in the details, that if you brainstorm each part of the story further and provide more details it will make it all come to life.

The rest of the story is about how they escape.
The way Diego's character is very well established is good. It makes sense as the story progresses.
Even though Diego's behavior is quite far-fetched, its an interesting angle to look at things from.
