"It's Buffy the Vampire Slayer on steroids!"

"...if the Exorcist was a superhero, Muriel Chase would be it!"

"Finally, a badass Young Female anti-hero."

Muriel Chase is like any other young woman who's 17th birthday is just weeks away. Her life is simple: she likes going to the beach, she enjoys working out, she loves to go shopping with her mom . . . and she hunts down and kills demons.

As part of a secret group financed and run by the Vatican, she is sent around the world to face the demons that the Vatican's Exorcists can't contain. When all hope of saving the host's body fades, Muriel is the one who is called to take over the exorcism. But her way is not one of holy water and religious sermons.

If you're a demon, and Muriel shows up... she's here to kill you.

The pilot focuses on Muriel's strange and haunting history and how she learned her skills as a demon killer. As we unearth her dark secret, we begin to see how dangerous she could really be.

This show is based on the best selling series, “Chasing Darkness” and the Sequel, “Chasing Daylight” by Nicholas Black.
