"Midnight American" was a very easy read. It was gripping and intense, relatable and realistic in terms of characters and dialogue, and the setting/imagery were all top-notch. It is definitely a story I'd like to see in live-action, but I think a lot is left on the table. At 70 pages it's very brisk and accomplishes what it sets out to in those 70 pages, but it's missing just a few things to elevate it. I would love to see a bit more fleshed-out...
