I really enjoyed what you did with the Superman legend by kind of rejiggering it to fit the pulse of the times. Lois was an especially riveting character, and all the stuff about her old days doing positive, fluff-type pieces contrasted nicely with an overwhelmingly sensationalist media culture. More importantly, you didn’t succumb to the temptation to make this just another bombastic blockbuster.

First of all, being a Dc fan myself I would like to congratulate you on a job well done. The story reminded me of the Superman animation on the cartoon network & how it was my favorite all of the cartoons that I used to watch. The plot of Metropolis city in which everything is lawless & city worshiping a false god named Lex Luther. Analysis – The Superman
Hope this helps.
There were many good things in your opening pages. I’m drawn in to see what happens to the boat crew. In the first 10 ages we see glimpses of a man who can fly and has incredible strength. This already gives me a glimpse into a mythos of Superman/Kal-El from Krypton.
The dialogue is crisp and to the point.

While the story itself is not original, the scenes were written with a different tone. Clark is an employee at a coffee shop versus the reporter we all have seen...
