Career criminal Redd wakes up in his crime groups warehouse. He's wounded and severely beaten. He doesn't know what happened or where everyone went. He stumbles through the remnants of a party in the warehouse and searches for anyone, but no one's around. He calls his friend Greene, but he doesn't pick up. Redd calls his wife to tell her he'll be home. He doesn't know what happened, but he hopes their daughter and her are okay.
Redd comes home to find the living room somewhat in a mess. He fixes his head and goes towards the bedroom. He opens it to find his wife tied up to their bed. She's been murdered. He runs to her, but he can't take the horror. He runs into the hallway screaming for their daughter. Searches every room until he gets to hers. She's nowhere to be seen. He spots fingernail marks on the floor stretching all the way to the doorway.
Redd digs his wife's grave in the backyard and buries her. Stumbles into the living room and falls asleep. His dreams are fuzzy. He sees flashes of a bust him and his crew did earlier that day, Greene smiling as Redd's on the floor being beaten, and his families Fourth of July cookout. He wakes and gets dressed.
Gets into his car and drives over to his crews apartment. He searches through their apartment, but finds nothing. No one's there. It looks like they ran and took what they could, but he finds something in a desk. A letter from Marty to Greene detailing his concerns about taking a girl to an Organization.
Redd rushes to his car and speeds to Marty's. Marty comes out of the bathroom and sits at a desk full of porno pictures of women. Knocks come to his front door. Marty opens it. Redd bashes him and brings him to the ground. He interrogates Marty about where Greene is, where they're going with his daughter. Marty tries to get away. He tries to act like he doesn't know anything, but the rage and anger takes over Redd. Redd finds out Greene and the crew are going to an Organization in Colorado to sell his daughter. Redd bashes Marty's head in until he's dead. He gets in his car and drives with a map directing him to Colorado.
