ZOOMY SYNOPSIS
In the shadowy world of private intelligence agencies, a stunningly beautiful young black woman, strives to prove to her foster father, the head of a private intelligence agency called Haven, that she is a brave and capable secret operative, worthy of his respect and trust. Meet Zoomy Carr, 23, as she foils an assassination attempt on a young third world ruler, in a daring and ingenious way.
However, when she reports back to her father at Haven headquarters, she is crestfallen to discover that she is to be assigned to run a 'safehouse', a duty she regards as a humiliating demotion. Swallowing her pride, she takes charge of the safehouse from a hated rival, Marsha Chindless, 35, the very embodiment of ruthless ambition. Zoomy, feeling wasted, but grimly determined to prove herself, settles in to the boring routine of the safehouse.
She then discovers that she is now living next door to the neighborhood crank, a redneck kook named Carter Clamskite, 66. He immediately rubs her the wrong way when they meet. Zoomy discovers ominous signs that the boring routine of the safehouse is an illusion as a mysterious army of Segway riders seem to be circling ever closer.
Then, disaster! Her father is kidnapped by unknown forces! The safehouse is compromised. She has no one else to turn to, but irascible Mr. Clamskite. The two most unlikely allies set out only to uncover an intricate plot set in motion by powerful malevolent forces.
The clues point many ways. Is it all a caper involving baseball cards worth millions? A shady industrialist trying to corner the world titanium supply? A rival agency?
Many exciting action sequences lead to a stunning revelation-- Zoomy is one of two identical twins that their father has exploited all their lives, never telling either about the other, using them as an espionage asset.
Zoomy and Clamskite track the kidnappers down and discover that it was Marsha Chindless behind it all in a plot to take over the agency, Chindless holds Zoomy at bay, threatening to explode a bomb taped to her father. Zoomy's remorseful father sacrifices himself to save Zoomy and her sister.
Having proven herself a world class secret agent, Zoomy and her twin sister now run the agency, with Mr. Clamskite one of their best agents,
