This is a fun start to this script! It's a fun twist on the St Nick trope. The idea that this preacher is out trying to convert folks by breaking into their homes in the middle of the night is clever and fun. I think the level of him being drunk through all of this could come into play in other fun ways, maybe with the cops joking about it or him almost having an accident with the Uhaul guys before they steal his truck. You've got a solid base to work up from.

The ending leaves me confused. If it's that Gregg was also a petty criminal and had just robbed the place before Brad arrived, we need some more detail at the end to make that clear. If he's just discovering her body there, this makes even less sense. The story could have done without Beth entirely, but if you want the audience to create a backstory for Gregg, you need to give them more to work with. I think if you expanded on this idea, it'd be helpful to give your character a clear goal. If his goal is only to get the money, give him redeeming qualities that allow the audience to connect to him. Right now his actions don't seem motivated.

Jade was an excellent leading character, and I understood her wants and needs clearly. Zay was a bit harder to read, and I think to make him feel more realistic and his choices feel justified, you need to either show a softer side to him or give the audience more backstory on their relationship. For a rough draft, it's well formatted and very easy to read. It leaves me wanting more! Did Zay really leave her? Is he coming back? It's juicy!
