When one day, returning home at night in Kyiv (Ukraine), Yaroslav catches a girl being robbed by three big men, he takes out his phone without remorse and starts filming. Suddenly, the girl gives surrender and scatters the robbers herself. This is how Yaroslav meets Nastya. And a brilliant plan comes to his mind.
Nastya is back from the front in her native capital. Her system of values, a heightened sense of justice and traumatic experience keep her from being indifferent. Yaroslav pushes the girl on the path of the "Kyiv heroine". Not everyone is able to stand up for themselves as she does – the residents of Kyiv need protection. Nastya arms herself with a bat, dresses in black and starts patrolling the city. And Yaroslav starts filming. He tells Nastya about promoting her activities, presses her civic duty and actually forces her to agree to the idea of a YouTube show about her patrolling.
Of course, Yaroslav is not doing this for good causes, but for his own mercantile ones. He wants to make a popular YouTube show and make good money. He does not care about protecting the innocent and protecting his own city, he does not believe in the future of Ukraine and wants to "get out of here" to a "normal country" as quickly as possible. The protagonist of our story is not the "classic heroine" Nastya, but the "wrong hero" Yaroslav. A mercantile, selfish and petty "Robin". Representative of the passive and indifferent youth. However, behind a mask of mercantilism hides a family drama - his little sister Masha is sick with cancer. She is the real reason for the search for money Yaroslav and attempts to move to a country with a more developed medicine. Everything is for her sake.
Kyiv is not a gloomy and corrupted Gotham City, mostly have to take down the cats from the tree, run after stolen bags and communicate with drunken bullies. You can't catch a lot of "hype" on this - Yaroslav pushes Nastya into more and more dangerous "exploits." And now they are faced with a real crime - a terrorist, a former FSB man, is going to arrange a large-scale terrorist attack in Kyiv. Nastya decides that she must stop him.
