When Erembour accepts a dare to explore a decrepit old mansion, she is accidentally transported into the Eternal Manor, a mansion the size of a city, populated with monsters, both civilized and wild. With the help of her new friend Awoo, and her bat Batolomew, Erembour searches for a way home.
