Following a robbery gone wrong, Jacob and Slick are stranded on a farm with a suspicious farmer. With tensions running high and Slick's reckless behavior spiraling out of control, the night becomes a fight to escape unscathed.
After Dark is a thriller/drama That follows Jacob and Slick, who are stranded on a rural road with a broken-down car. Their luck seems to turn around when they stumble upon a farmhouse where they meet a Ruth a lonesome but skeptical farmer. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse as Ruth demands cash from the two men to earn her trust and use her phone They oblige because this is only option they can go along with, but as they try to make a phone call, it becomes clear that Ruth is not to be trifled with. She has a shotgun on hand and her suspicion only grows as she observes the two men. The tension builds when the boys realize that they are locked in the farmhouse with Ruth for the night as there is no way their car is getting fixed this late of night. and that their true intentions may have been exposed.
Later that night Slick takes an opportunity with the hope he can steal some of Ruth's money and valuables, but the plan goes awry when Ruth catches them in the act. They make a break for it, but not before stealing some of Ruth's cash. As Ruth chases them down, and the boys escape in her car, but the experience leaves them feeling conflicted. They know that what they did was wrong and that they got lucky to escape with their lives. As they drive away, they can't help but wonder if they have made a grave mistake and if karma will come back to haunt them.
This screenplay is a journey through Martin Luther's life to give us historical facts as well as insights into his reformation. Whether or not the events of his lifetime could have influenced the Holocaust is left for the reader to decide.
