Daisy, sweet old Granny, suffers from bad knees to the extent she requires a power scooter. One night, she bolts awake at the sound of crunching and discovers space aliens chowing down on her knees. She screams for the nurse. But, more terrified of her than she is of them, the space aliens screech back and hide. Never one to shy away from a fight, Daisy pursues them through a series of comical misadventures including a misinterpretation of her fart being a love pact which results in a party hardy celebration. Eventually, Daisy learns the space aliens have always fed off elderly knees. But, increased replacement surgeries led to a famine and the aliens would soon need to devour the knees of kids to survive.

Eventually, Daisy opts to have a new treatment, her own stem cells harvested and reinjected back into her knees. However, it turns out when the space aliens saliva mixes with the stem cells, knees become superpowered and defy all laws of physics.

Ultimately, to save the kids from a life of knee pain and debilitation, Daisy leads two of her stem cell cohorts into battle against the space aliens. Their interactions are comedic. But, eventually she wins, the space aliens disappear and Daisy's blood is used to formulate a vaccine.

All looks perfect until...

during a mass vaccination event, they reappear, hiding under a table.

However, in terms of writing it's a pleasure to read, because its clear and well-descriptive. The story of a kind old woman saving the world feels comedic but, at the same time it is such a straight-fo...
Entertaining story.

Some of the action scenes, especially the big fight at the end were hard to follow. There's a lot of unusual things happening. Tighten that by making it more clear who's involved, especially for the aliens.

The aftermath of having a knee eaten (before the stem cell injection) isn't consistent with the description of what is ripped out. The knee wouldn't function at all. Even if the skin healed up, the knee would be quit...
