struggles to divide himself from the corrupt ideology of his
father.
The city of Atlanta, near future. The air space in most
major cities across the world is occupied by monstrous
hovering aircrafts belonging to an unspecified species
(Independence Day for reference). There are periodic
flyovers of smaller planes departing from the hovering
monstrosity. Many believed these flyovers to be air raid
threat, however, no explosive have been dropped from these
planes. The ships emit no sounds and no one pays any
attention to the flyovers. This has been occurring for
nearly three years and many people have become comfortable
with the threat. Rather than taking shelter, going about
their daily business, the beings have brought one technology
to the humans. The Presence provides accelerated
encephalization to certain individuals at a great cost.
Other than this, the occupiers have allowed the societies to
run mostly normally. There is a strict classist society,
separating upper from lower, with no middle class. There are
limited resources allocated to the lower class, controlled
by the upper class.

at a nearby house by Xan's love interest, Lennon. Xan has
persistent visions alluding to a car accident in the future.
They arrive, and Xan is involved in an altercation with
another youth from the area, Lennon's boyfriend. Xan and his
best friend, Zeke, escape the party and drive away. On their
drive home, a mysterious super human steps out into the road
and totals their car. The viewer learns that Xan's father
committed suicide when he was just six years old.
ACT II
2 months prior:
Xan, Zeke and their other two friends are preparing to rob a
local convenience store. The robbery goes horribly wrong,
and one of the members shoots and kills one of the clerks.
This is the awakening of Xan's power. He stops 2 bullets
telekinetically. Only Zeke saw this happen.

his struggle to maintain peace and manage The Presence.

robbery is a success and he escapes with the cash. The clerk
he injured at the store was Malkam, Lennon's boyfriend.
This robbery triggers Claudius. He wakes up, and realizes
Xan has awakened his power. He sends his assistant, Gabriel
to capture Xan and bring him back to the capital.Gabriel
investigates and after informing a close friend of his plans
(Xan's mother, Mary) proceeds with Xan's capturing. Gabriel

capital. On the plane, Xan explodes in a fit of rage,
breaking through the shackles on his wrists. He begins
destroying the plane in mid air. Gabriel drags Xan's
unconscious body out of the plane, saving him. Xan wakes up
and attempts to attack Gabriel, but Claudius, to everyone's
surprise, is there to stop him. Xan fights Gabriel and
Claudius simultaneously. He kills Gabriel but is
subsequently pummeled by Claudius. Claudius explains to him,
that he is his Uncle and he killed his father. His father
wanted to violently control the world and he had to be
stopped. Xan can right his father's wrongs. The fight ends
and the viewer realizes the fight never actually occurred.
Xan realizes he can't win the fight and he submits.
Xan arrives back home to say his goodbyes. He visits Zeke's
cemetery stone, and heads home to pack his bags. Before
leaving his mother behind, he has one last vision: his
father transferring his ability to him, when he was six. Xan
